Mexican Senator by the State of Hidalgo
David Penchyna is a Mexican Senator by the State of Hidalgo, he is President of the Energy Committee, Secretary of the Foreign Affairs with International Organizations Committee, member of the Constitutional Points Committee and Treasury Committee, all in the Mexican Senate.
David has been honored as one of the 300 more influential leaderships in the country for the last 4 years.
Previously, Penchyna served two times as elected Federal Congressman for the State of Hidalgo and also has been Secretary of Social Development and Economic Development for the same State. In the Executive branch, he has been Sectorial General Manager of the Social Development Federal Secretariat, General Director of the “Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores”, General Sub-director of the Housing National Found for the Workers –INFONAVIT-, between others responsibilities.
In the Institutional Revolutionary Party –PRI-, he has been an active and core member, being National Spokesman, Head of the Field Department of the Presidential elections in 2006, Technical Secretary of the National Politics Council, President of the “Mesa de Estatutos en la XIX Asamblea Nacional del PRI” and General Undersecretary.
Penchyna received his Lawyer degree from the UNAM (Universidad Nacional Auntónoma de México) and also had postgraduate studies in Public Policies from the ITAM (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Mexico).
In other activities, David Penchyna is a Political Analyst for “Canal 40” and collaborate in the Mexican newspapers “Reforma”, “El Universal” and “Milenio Diario Hidalgo”.
